November 30th Bags for Travellers \ Shopping just received this invite on 3 November 2011

Tod's at the Paragon Boutique in Singapore was auctioning an exclusive handbag on 5th-6th November 2011.

Full proceeds were to go to DAWN Dedicated to AIDS/HIV Women's Needs. This programme is under the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Community Charity Fund.

I spoke to a Tod's personnel at takashimaya. On top of the Paragon auction, most of the bags in Tod's boutiques in Singapore are going at a 10% discount these 2 days. 10% of the proceeds of this 10% sale would going to charity (DAWN) too.

DAWN is a worthwhile cause.

Women who contract HIV could have gotten it from straying husbands. Wives who implicitly trust their husbands and do not use condoms with their husbands can be at risk. Faithful partners could be infected by straying spouses. A one night stand is all it takes to infect a person.

This charity supports all women who are living with HIV.

This auction has since closed. However, we'll feature ways you can make a difference when you go shopping.
