I used to buy those oriental snap purses. They make excellent coin purses and wonderful gifts for friends (female only, unless you have guy friends who like to carry women's purses.

As a student, before there was the internet, I had many pen pals. I loved corresponding with friends from all over the world. Anyway, I loved those purses as they were lightweight and slipped nicely into the envelop, so I could mail them easily to my pen pals.

The larger ones, too big to send as pen pal gifts make great gifts to loved ones at home. Okay, now with online shopping, sending these as gifts to pals in other countries is a cinch. Just order online and put your pal's address as the shipping address. That way she'd get the purse direct from the store.
